Representative Miller has effectively served you in Hartford
for 16 years.
Prior to his state position, he was elected to the Town
Council and several Land Use Boards, serving the Town of Stratford for 16
years. Miller has served on numerous charitable and civic organizations over
the years. Current Legislative experience includes membership on the
Planning and Development Committee, the Energy and Technology Committee,
ranking member of the Select Committee on Housing, and on the Housing Trust
Fund Committee.

the current Affordable Housing statute which favors developers at the
expense of family neighborhoods. |

Electric Deregulation Bill which has forced Connecticut citizens to pay

of Long Island Sound, particularly the LNG “Barge” that will benefit New
York at the expense of potential damage to the sound. |

An outspoken critic of our state’s poor
air quality, especially diesel vehicle emissions that can be significantly
reduced by using Bio-Diesel, the fastest growing renewable fuel in the
U.S. |

Opposed to unfunded mandates imposing
enormous financial burdens on our local government. |

Working to Eliminate State Taxation on
Pension and Social Security incomes. |

Actively engaged in rescinding Estate
Taxes which force our senior citizens to move to other states in order to
protect their assets. |

A vocal critic of the Real Estate
Conveyance Tax imposed on house sales. |

Supporting changes to ECS formula to
provide more education funding to Stratford. |
